Information We Collect

Tea For Streets collects the following categories of information:

• Street-Level Imagery — photographs and video from public streets and infrastructure areas used for infrastructure analysis and detection.
• Location & GPS Data — GPS coordinates, street addresses, and geographic metadata associated with imagery and reports. This may include precise location data embedded in image metadata (EXIF).
• Infrastructure Issue Reports — data about detected or reported infrastructure defects, including category, severity, descriptions, and related attributes.
• Public Street Reports — when you report a street or infrastructure issue through our public reporting tool, we collect the issue category and any description, the location (an address, cross-streets, or precise GPS coordinates if you choose “Use my location”), any photo you attach (including location metadata, or EXIF, contained in it), and the email address you provide so we can send you updates.
• Contact & Lead Information — name, email address, phone number, organization, and inquiry details submitted through contact forms, Microsoft Forms, demo requests, or investor inquiries.
• Account Information — credentials, profile details, and authentication information if you create or maintain a platform account.
• Usage & Analytics Data — app or platform usage events, feature interactions, session logs, crash reports, and performance metrics to improve the Service.

How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Process and analyze street-level imagery using computer vision and machine learning
• Generate infrastructure intelligence, analytics, dashboards, and reports for authorized users
• File 311 service requests with the responsible municipal agency (such as LA 311 or SF311) on your behalf and track them through to resolution
• Send status updates to people who report a street issue (for example, filed, acknowledged, and resolved)
• Respond to demo requests, investor inquiries, and general contact requests from prospective customers and partners
• Improve platform performance, reliability, user experience, and model accuracy
• Monitor and prevent misuse, fraud, or security threats
• Communicate with users about the Service, updates, and support
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service

Reports & Form Submissions

Demo requests, investor interest submissions, and other contact form inquiries are collected via Microsoft Forms. When you submit a form, your name, email, phone number (if provided), organization, and inquiry details are captured and may be stored by both Tea For Streets and Microsoft. These details are used to respond to your inquiry, schedule demos, provide investor information, or otherwise communicate with you about our platform.

When you submit a street-issue report, it is stored in our own backend (Firebase) and reviewed by our team in an internal dashboard. If the issue is in an area we currently serve, we file it with the relevant municipal 311 system on your behalf. Those filings are submitted anonymously — we do not send your name, email, or account information to the city. What we do send is the issue type, the location (street address and/or GPS coordinates), your photo, and, in some cases, a repair-cost assessment we generate from that photo.

Not every report is forwarded to a city. If you report an issue outside the areas we currently serve, we keep your report and it still counts toward your account, but we do not submit it to a 311 system. You'll be told in the app when this is the case.

We collect your email address when you create an account with Sign in with Apple. We use it to identify your account and to let you see the reports you've filed. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with the city. Updates about your report are delivered as push notifications and in the app.

Data Sharing

Tea For Streets does not sell personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. We may share information only with:

• Service providers — cloud storage, analytics, security monitoring, email, and platform infrastructure partners. Where AI voice and language features are used (our Clark assistant), speech and text are processed by Microsoft Azure AI services
• Report processing — street-issue reports are processed through our own backend infrastructure and routed to our team
• Municipal agencies — when you report a street or infrastructure issue, the report and its location may be submitted to the relevant city’s 311 service to request a repair
• Legal authorities — when required by law, court order, or government request
• Business partners — if you are an authorized B2B user, your organization and usage data may be shared with your account administrator

All service providers are contractually required to protect user data and use it only for the purposes described.

Data Retention

We retain personal data and infrastructure intelligence data only as long as necessary to operate the Service, fulfill your requests, or comply with legal obligations. Imagery and derived intelligence may be retained longer to improve model performance and maintain historical records, unless deletion is requested or legally required.

Your Rights & Account Management

If you have created an account or provided personal information through forms, reports, or inquiries, you may request:

• Access to your personal data
• Correction of inaccurate information
• Deletion of your account and associated personal data (subject to legal retention requirements)

Children's Privacy

Tea For Streets is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.

Security

Tea For Streets employs industry-standard security measures to protect personal data and imagery from unauthorized access, alteration, and disclosure. However, no security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

Tea For Streets may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. We will notify users of material changes and obtain consent where required. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated policies.
